Deutsche Bank Releases Three-Year Gold Forecast

Deutsche Bank expects the upward trend in gold prices to continue and has released updated projections for 2026–2028. The bank raised its 2026 average gold price forecast from $4,000 to $4,450 per ounce.

 

Forecast for 2026

 

The bank expects gold to trade between $3,950 and $4,950 in 2026. The upper band is about 14% above current COMEX December 2026 futures levels.

 

2027 and 2028 outlook

 

Deutsche Bank estimates an average price of $5,150 in 2027 and $4,500 in 2028, expecting long-term demand for gold to remain strong.

 

Silver, platinum and palladium estimates

 

The report forecasts an average silver price of $55.1 in 2026, platinum at $1,735, and palladium at $1,565. Projections for 2027 and 2028 remain stable across all three metals.
