Commerzbank Raises Gold and Silver Targets
Commerzbank has updated its precious metals outlook, raising its gold and silver price forecasts for 2026. The bank increased its gold estimate from $4,200 to $4,400 per ounce.
Updated gold expectations
The revision represents a 4.7% increase over the previous estimate. Spot gold is currently trading at $4,207, down 0.07% in early trading.
Gold has gained nearly 60% over the past year, maintaining strong bullish momentum.
Revised silver outlook
The bank now expects silver to reach $59 per ounce next year, compared to the previous target of $50.
Silver recently hit an all-time high of $58.95 before pulling back to $58.
This year, silver has surged nearly 90%, outperforming gold.
